My values drive every decision and relationship in my life. Here are my top few:
Faith
My faith in Jesus helps me to see the infinite value of every human life, no matter if they look, think, or act like me. Jesus’ sacrifice was for everyone, and thus everyone deserves that same level of care from me.
As a legislator, this means taking care of neighbors is a priority and I will unapologetically fight for the weak and vulnerable in our communities.
Trust
I value trust in relationships. I want to be a man that others can trust, and my strongest relationships are with those that I know will be there no matter what. This doesn’t mean I’m perfect, but it does mean I will work to restore trust if it has been broken.
As a legislator, I will work to build trust with my constituents and those I work alongside.
Stewardship
Our lives can be lived in many ways, but I look at my life through the lens of stewardship. How do I steward my time and my resources for others, and what is the best legacy I can leave?
As a legislator, I will work to make sure that resources are stewarded with upmost transparency and efficiency, valuing the legacy we can leave for future generations over ideology.
